Designed by Rafael Viñoly Architects, the development is organized as an L-shaped volume spanning six levels, tailored to a sensitive beachfront lot facing the South Atlantic. Combining deep terraces with private pools, glass facades on three sides, and setbacks that eliminate cross-views between units, every residence at Acqua Punta del Este feels like a standalone home—closer to an oceanfront estate than a traditional apartment.

Interior Layout and Technical Flexibility

The spatial organization follows a clear rationale: social areas—living and dining rooms—orient toward the ocean, while bedrooms and private quarters extend along lateral and rear glazed facades, many offering water views as well.

A subtle yet critical feature is its engineering: a dual-slab structural system that allows mechanical and plumbing infrastructure to be reconfigured without disturbing the units below. This introduces a level of layout flexibility rarely found in high-end residential architecture.

The prominent use of glass, balanced by horizontal fair-faced concrete slabs, enhances the continuous dialogue between the indoors and the surrounding landscape.
